Aris Anagnostopoulos

I am a post-doctoral research fellow in the department of Archaeology at the University of Southampton and will during that time devote myself to the topic of Kalaureia in the present. I studied Social Anthropology (BA) at the University of Kent, and Urban History (MA) at the University of Leicester. Recently I submitted my doctoral dissertation on Public space in Early-20th century Crete at the University of Kent. I was researcher for the documentary entitled ‘Knossos: the Labyrinth of Myths’ that was aired on Greek National Television (ERT 1) and which won the first prize for script at the 6th international meeting for Archaeological documentary films in Thessaloniki in 2006.
